Hi, I’m Christina.

Most days you can find me in the dance studio or at church.

It is my purpose in life to serve the community and the world through teaching dance, leading worship, and speaking engagements. I aim to live by, “Be Present, Be Humble, Be Kind”.

I am proud to teach our students from my experiences as a professional for Norwegian Cruise Line, Crystal Cruises, the Siegfried & Roy Show in Las Vegas, and 20 years as owner and director of Christina’s Dance World. With this, our production shows move beyond a stereotypical dance recital setting, and offer an experience of professional shows. Christina’s Dance World performs at the Ritz Theatre, Disney Springs, and local events and community centers. In the past we have provided entertainment at Epcot Center, the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and The Cloister at Sea Island.

Heather Clark-Classical Ballet and Lyrical Teacher

2016- Today Classical Ballet/Lyrical/Ballet Fitness Teacher at Christina’s Dance World

1994-1997 Studied with The Ballet School of Chapel Hill

1994-1997 Three summer workshops with Ballet Magnificat!

Hi, I’m Heather.

I started dancing at the age of five in my hometown of Danville, VA in ballet and jazz. By the age of ten, I was living in NC where I trained with John Walker of Walkerdance and performed various roles in The Nutcracker for three years.

My passion for ballet grew around age 13 while dancing under the instruction of M’liss Dorrance, Katie Wakeford, Diane Eilber, and Jennifer Potts at The Ballet School of Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC.

I participated in Summer Intensive programs at The Virginia School of the Arts in Lynchburg, VA and Ballet Magnificat in Jackson, MS under Kathy Thibodeau and Jiri Voborsky. I was an original member of Rejoice Dance Ministries from 1993-1997 and a member of The Chapel Hill Ballet Company 1996-1997.

After graduating high school, I joined Youth With a Mission in Tyler, TX as a missionary through the Arts. During this time I traveled to different countries showing God’s love through dance. Because of this training I am able to teach the discipline of ballet and the understanding of worship through dance and movement.

When I am not in the studio, I volunteer at Skylark, but most of my leisure time is spent with my husband, our three children, and our Bernese Mountain dog. This house of introverts loves to watch movies, read, and laugh together.
